T urkiye edged the United States 3-2 in a breathless contest at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, with Kaan Ayhan's 90th-minute winner sealing a dramatic Group D victory.

Auston Trusty gave the USA an early lead in the third minute, but Arda Guler levelled for Turkiye in the 10th before Baris Alper Yilmaz put the home side in front with a goal in the 31st minute.

Sebastian Berhalter equalised for the USA in the 49th minute to make it 2-2 and set up a tense second half. With the match seemingly heading for a draw, substitute Kaan Ayhan struck in the 90th minute to win it for Turkiye.

Turkiye top Group D. The USA advance as runners-up.
