Brazil Cruise Past Scotland 3-0 to Top Group C

Vinicius Junior scored twice and Matheus Cunha added a third as Brazil eased to a 3-0 victory over Scotland in Miami to finish top of Group C.

B razil finished top of Group C with a commanding 3-0 win over Scotland at Miami Stadium on Wednesday, booking a place in the round of 32 as group winners.

Vinicius Junior opened the scoring with a composed finish in the seventh minute after cutting in from the left. He doubled Brazil's advantage just before the break, turning provider into goalscorer with a precise low drive.

Scotland worked hard throughout but could not find a way through a disciplined Brazilian defence. Matheus Cunha put the result beyond doubt with a cool finish on the hour mark, completing a routine evening for the South American giants.

Brazil advance as Group C winners. Scotland exit the tournament.
