Hosted opening and closing ceremonies of the 2010 Winter Olympics.
Opened in 1983 and nestled on the waterfront in the heart of Vancouver, BC Place is one of the most picturesque venues of the 2026 World Cup. It is the long-term home of MLS side Vancouver Whitecaps and CFL franchise the BC Lions.
The venue featured prominently at the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup, hosting the final where the USA defeated Japan 5-2. It stages seven 2026 matches, including two knockout-round games.
